Shoulder Pain & Frozen Shoulder
Shoulder pain can be caused by injuries to the muscles or ligaments that surround the shoulder joints or even to the joints themselves. If can also be due to referred pain from the neck. Frozen shoulder is caused by inflammation within the shoulder joint and can lead to severe restriction of movement in the long term. Shoulder pain presents as soreness, tension and/or stiffness in the shoulder and should girdle region. It can also be related to cervical spine dysfunction and can be secondary to a range of multiple conditions including those which might include rotator cuff injury and adhesive capsulitis.
